![]() PAIN TREATMENTYou will not have to put up with any pain at our clinic SOS emergency You can also reach us outside of our usual opening times in emergencies and if you are in pain. Please do not hesitate to call us if you are experiencing problems with your teeth. Patients who are in pain receive immediate appointments at our clinic. Painless treatment We offer local anaesthetics, laughing gas, semi-consciousness or general anaesthetics at hospital standard depending on the intervention and the patient's algesia (sense of pain). Our clinic has its own team of anaesthetists to care for risk patients. What to do about fear? No one likes going to the dentist. However, some patients suffer from a real fear of the dentist. Symptoms of dentophobia can include shivering, sweating, nausea, palpitations and, in the worst cases, dizziness and circulatory problems. We will try to calm your fears: with extensive discussions, a pleasant atmosphere in the waiting room, music and relaxation exercises. Sedation with laughing gas Laughing gas is commonly used in the USA to reduce pain and fear during dental treatment, but only a few dentists in Austria and Germany make use of the method. The patient inhales a mix of laughing gas and oxygen through a nasal mask that leads to a light trance. This kind of sedation has no side effects and does not lead to any long-lasting impairment. |
